Danielle Dattolo is a writer, editor, and proofreader based in New England. Throughout her publishing career, she has proofread books, journals, encyclopedias, and magazines, in addition to writing for trade publications and entertainment sites.

She was named as a prize winner in the 2024 international #50PreciousWords contest, and in 2023 she was chosen as a mentee in the Write Team Mentorship Program. Additionally, in 2022, she participated in the First Five Pages Workshop. For past work, she won The Mercury Fiction Prize and received a Stephen Crane Fiction Prize. 

In 2022, she established a virtual critique group with aspiring authors across the country in order to connect them with the resources and community they need to succeed.
